I ordered this case because 1) I am a very clumsy person who tends to drop things and 2) I live on an island and am constantly at the beach so I needed something to prevent sand and water from ruining my phone. Before this case I had always been a devote Otterbox fan but after seeing some of my friends's lifeproof cases I decided to buy this for my new IPhone 5c. The case feels solid when on and seems like it could take a drop. The white on the front is nice and bright, the gray compliments it perfectly and the clear back is wonderful so it shows the color of my iphone. The build it screen protector is nice but does leave a slight amount of space between the screen and the protector. Before putting the case I worried this would annoy me but I quit noticing it after a day or so. All ports are accessible with the case on. I do not think a docking station would work with this case due to the thickness of it. The cover for the charging port is made out of plastic but is still solid and feels of quality build. The screw in cover for the earphone jack works perfectly and I have already unscrewed it a few times to use headphones and have had no issue. The screw in cover is attached by a little piece of plastic so you will never lose it. The volume, home, and screen on buttons all work perfectly with the case on. I will say that the toggle switch for the ringer is very difficult to use with the case on. This could definitely be improved in future versions of the case. I did water test the case for 30 minutes before putting my phone in it and had no leaks at all which was wonderful. The downside of this case is that all the protection affects both incoming and outgoing sound. People have said I sound muffled when talking so I am adjusting to this by talking slightly louder and annunciating my words better. It is annoying however that a phone case hinders the most basic function of the phone. Speaker sound is also quite muffled. If you are looking to use this for listening to music out loud you will probably have to take the case off. I tested both the front and back cameras with the case on and off and noticed no difference. The flash works perfect and does not interfere with the case at all. All in all this is a very protective case that trades sound quality for protection. I am happy with my purchase.
