Since Homemedic has decided to cheap out its products in the past couple of years, we were at a loss for a theraputic percussion massager that could do the same task that our 11-year-old Homedic could do before it gave up the ghost. After buying and returning the current Homedic product (which is a weak imitation of its former self), we took a chance on the TheraThump and have been more than pleased with its power, durability, and performance. We both have deep tissue muscle issues stemming from medical/injury issues, and cannot waste our time with something that doesn't perform and perform well. This massager has the kind of power and percussion that cannot be faked -- it works!
