Desk was easy to assemble. (you can see my video on assembly, looks, function and versatility) Absolutely happy with this desk. Was delivered quickly, was clean and free of defects and it works as advertised. It's as sturdy is it can be considering it's a high desk when raised and it has a smaller contact base with the floor. Side to side it's sturdier than I thought it would be and resting my arms on the desk as I type there is barely any movement on the table. Considering that I'm on carpet that is a bonus... hard floor would be even more stable. It doesn't look as 'cheap' as I thought it would, albeit it doesn't look lavish either. But if you watch the video and see the picture I posted you will see that it hold it's own in a relatively nice area of the home. You don't have to stuff it in the corner or hide it out of the way if you don't want to. Controls are easy to set and work great from my experience so far. I recently found out that I am more productive, motivated and willing to work on the computer while standing. Makes it feel like an activity as much as work or leisure. The good part is that later on I can put a different desk top on it to make it even nicer.
