This bedrail is awesome! It snaps together easily-no tools required. One section goes between the mattress and box spring and can be adjusted to fit the correct width. The upright section also adjusts in height. This rail is very sturdy and would support someone who has difficulty getting out of bed. We use it on the opposite side to keep my father from falling out of bed. Because the section that goes under the mattress reaches all the way across, we have no worries about the rail being pushed away from the bed thus allowing him to fall out. I highly recommend this product!
