Seller: MY LIFE
Bristles: synthetic taklon
Very soft, no animal hair
Smell:
-before wash:
It smelled a little bit like plastic and glue but I personally don't smell my brushes so I don't mind. :)
-After wash (used diluted Dr. Bronner's magic soap in Lavender):
No longer has a scent + with makeup it will kinda smells like makeup haha
bamboo handle:
-some are a little bit bulkier
-steady and glazed
-different sizes
-yellowy light wood looking color
Outside packaging:
-Came in an off-white colored pouch, great for traveling
Powder brush: oval shape, great for blush, setting powder, bronzer, blending...
Pencil brush: round and pointy, great for bottom lash line, highlight on inner corners, other detailed areas
Flat paddle foundation brush: liquid or cream foundation, my favorite paddle brush!! All of my other paddle brushes leave streaks, even my Real Techniques one! But this one is very soft, flexible and great for blending!
Fluffy eye blending brush:
Great for blending eyeshadow on the crease. It kind of has an awkward length, it has long bristles so it's very flexible. So I would use this to create a wash of color and to blend.
Bigger fluffy blending brush:
Great for contour, concealer, maybe a little too big for the eyes but you can try :) perfect in between size.
Small flat brush: great for concealer, very flexible, great to pat eyeshadow onto lids...
Short powder/blush/bronzer brush: very dense, perfect for loose makeup too.
Angled Shader brush: great for eyeshadow on the lid, crease, brow bone, conturing the nose, etc.
Flat top Kabuki: dense enough to blend foundation, great for buffing in loose powder, foundation, etc.
Angled brush: great for eyebrows, gel eyeliner, eyeshadow on bottom lash line...
Smallest flat top kabuki: less dense than flat top kabuki, great for blending, great for touchups.
General rating: I would really give this a 10/10 because there's barely anything wrong with this kit! My favorites are the angled eyeliner brush and the paddle foundation brush.
I know this was a long review oups ^.^
Thanks for reading, have a great day :)
