I bought this after reading a couple of reviews that said how amazing this thing works (I’m looking at you bachelor dude). After a couple of uses it wasn’t working well, and I was angry that I was duped by reviews. I finally realized that the tube was completely clogged, and after spending almost an hour cleaning it, it worked fine again. After the next couple of uses it clogged again. Again, I cursed the vacuum, and declogged it. I panicked that I bought a vacuum that had clogging issues. As I continued to use it, the clogging issues went away. It turns out the issue was that my old vaccum was so bad, and the Shark is so good, it was clogging from picking up all the stuff my old vaccum left behind. Since the first few deep cleans I haven’t had any issues. Another awesome thing about this vaccum is that, while it has settings for hardwood and carpeting, it isn’t neccessary that you change it every time you change flooring. This is a plus if you have hardwood floors and lots of decorative carpets. With my old vacuum, if I didn’t change the setting debris would just go flying everywhere, and make a bigger mess. I’ve also seen some cleaning ladies haulding thier Sharks in and out of client’s houses, so if you know professional cleaners are using it it has to be good.
