Scared it was gonna be bad; relieved it was good.
I didn't receive this thing for free. I paid the $400 like you guys so, here's a review:
Size: People have said this couch is small. That's nuts, they probably came from like one of those mansion couches with a bunch of gold pillows. I'm 6' tall 150lbs and it would comfortably fit 3 of me. Bigger people, maybe it's an issue, but it's plenty of space for me and the kids. Also, the dimensions are listed. Grab a tape measure and see if it works for you. 73" long.
Also, the chase, or L, or whatever you call it, is nice and wide. Again, I'm 6' tall and when I'm on it I hang off at the ankles, which is fine because I don't wanna take my shoes off anyway.
The only thing: someone mentioned the depth of sitting was a little shallow. Yeah that's kinda true. It's not a deal breaker, and you're not at the edge of your seat or anything, but it's pretty much butt and a little bit of legs, and then you're thighs and knees are on their own.
Stiffness/Comfort: The first day with this couch, it is a little stiff. Especially if you're coming from an overstuffed thrift store find that gobbles your butt like I was. After a day they things soften up and it's actually really comfortable. It's a good mix of soft and hard. Medium? It's that.
The BIG thing with comfort is the arms. Someone said they are just wrapped wood and they totally are. If you like jamming into the corner of your couch to relax, you can forget it here. The arms dig into you big time so grab a pillow or something.
Looks/assembly: Yeah so the couch basically comes totally assembled. It was damaged on arrival, but only the bottom and you can't see it so, whatever I'm not packing this thing up again. People talking about assembly on here pretty much mean putting the pillows on it. Mad easy. Looks just like the picture (I got the gray/brown one, can't speak for brown only.)
Overall: It's a $300 couch and you're paying for the $100 convenience fee of just clicking a button and having it at your door. It's a nice $300 couch, and I'm happy with the $300 couch, but that's what it is. If you picture a blank white piece of paper with the word COUCH written on it in black ink, that's what this couch is. Standard stuff, but that L part totally makes it, and it's where I intend to live forever. Those arms though...
