Several throw carpets in our kitchen and bathrooms became very slippery on our tile floors after being washed a couple times. I decided to give this stuff a try. It works beautifully!!! I would recommend this product. Notes: 1. Pretty interesting that the Amazon product description says 'Safe and easy to use' but the label on the can's front label says, '...DANGER...contact may cause permanent eye damage'. I did wear eye protection when I applied it. Just use common sense/care. 2. Several people commented that the product does not provide the coverage they needed and they had to buy additional product. To that I would say: (A). Though the instructions say to apply TWO coats, I felt comfortable applying only a SINGLE coat. (B). Additionally, I did not apply a SOLID layer to the back of the entire carpet surface, but rather limited it to, for lack of a better word, a 'checkerboard pattern' which probably only consisted of possibly 40% of the entire surface (see photo). I allowed it to thoroughly dry for 5 - 6 hours in the direct, hot Florida sun to completely dry. The result has been totally non-slip carpets in all areas. Excellent performance and I have plenty of the product left to do additional carpets in the future. (BTW - I used a small piece of clear plastic-wrap between the can and lid to provide a better seal to prevent it from drying out, as some of the customers complained about.)
