I like it because.... 1. It does not STARTLE ME! or ALARM! ME!! when it goes off. 2. It's gentle, you can turn the song "alarm" way down or up a bit. 3. It's the only "alarm" clock about which I think I ever have had warm feelings. I feel like smiling at it when I look at it. It's nice to me. So, there ya go. A nice, kinda big, "gentle wake up, melody clock". Tick tock, Oh, and its silent. Bye
