So far, I like this bedspread. It's true that the material is quite thin (I have posted pictures), but it does feel warm. Also, we have a king-size memory foam mattress that sits on box springs, making our mattress + box springs about 18-19 inches deep; this blanket covers our huge bed PERFECTLY. There is even length left over! The quality of the material feels fine, but I will let you know in a few months how it has been holding up.
