I purchased these cubes to use on an 18-day Italy trip which included 6 different hotel stays. I was very pleased with the ability to unpack these cubes at each hotel into the drawers without removing the clothes. I only removed items that needed to be hung up so that they would be ready for evening wear. When it came time to leave the hotel on the third night, I just removed the cubes from the drawers, added any removed garments, kept dirty garments in a separate zippered area in my luggage, zipped up the cubes and threw them back in my luggage. It gave me the flexibility of changing tops and bottoms at each location. I couldn't imagine packing a suitcase full of clothes for almost 3-weeks of constant travel without the help of these packing cubes. At first when I received the cubes, they didn't look very strong, but I was proved wrong. In the large cubes, I managed to put 6 long pants, two dresses and a sweater, in the other large cube, I put in about 10 tops, couple of tank tops and two short sets. In the small cubes I used one for all undergarments with space for some tights and the other small cube was used for miscellaneous items. At the airport, my luggage was overweight, because I purchased too many bottles of wine, vinegar, honey, etc. throughout Italy, so I removed two cubes of clothes and added them to my carry-on to avoid paying $80 euros for overweight luggage!!! I love these packing cubes, they were perfect for my 18-day, 6-hotel trip throughout Italy, I can't imagine doing it without them.
