So Much Better Than Discovery
Absolutely love it!
My husband and I are huge Star Trek fans (the original series, Next Generation and Voyager). We have been super disappointed with the newer iterations of Star Trek - they've somehow lost the humanity and turned Star Trek into a tiresome soap-opera.
But The Orville recaptured the spirit of Star Trek and lifted it to new heights. Seth MacFarlane is a fantastic, down to earth captain who reacts realistically to bizarre situations. I really can't believe how much I have enjoyed this show. I truly hope it continues for several more seasons!
