My hair prior to using this product was lifted, roots only, with a Wella 7a/672. It was an awful orange. The before pics don't clearly show the true orange/brassiness of my hair. I thought I'd give this a shot to attempt to tone out the orange, (I typically use wella t18 but wanted to try something different). I left the product on my roots for 30 minutes. It was more of a red brown than I would have liked but, meh. I had a bit more than half of a bottle left and decided to add more to my crown only and brushed down just a few inches. I left that in for 5 minutes. Next I WASHED the rest of my hair with the remaining dye. I left that in for no more than 2 minutes. The bottom portion of my hair was already heavily highlighted close to platinum. If you look closely at the pics the lightest highlights I have are very silvery. I didn't want everything to turn dark silver, (which is why I only used it as a quick wash). If you are looking for silver I feel like this product can help you achieve your color goal IF you are mindful of you current tones and watch the time! I've never done this before. I'm not a hairstylist. I did a strand test. I'm really glad I gave this a shot! And I wish you well. 💙Peace N Love💙
