I needed an action camera that I could use for kayaking and to attach to my drone for aerial photo's. I didn't want to break the bank and also if I lost it didn't want it to be a $200 plus camera in case of drone fly away or losing it on the river. I must say I have now had this unit for several weeks and it has performed flawlessly. I have had it in the air several times taking video on my drone along with one trip down the river this season as the weather hasn't been great for kayaking yet. I'm impressed with the quality of video this little unit produces and the photos are really good too. The only thing that has bothered me so far is when using the zoom function on any video or photo the picture/video has a grainy look to it. When you don't zoom in everything looks great and this really isn't a deal breaker for me. Considering what I paid for this I have put it up against my father in laws GoPro and you can tell a slight difference in quality but not enough and he couldn't believe the video i got for what I paid for this little unit.This also comes with an extra battery and almost all the accessory's you could ever want/need.
