Just a little Info
I'm was bicycle Mechanic for over 30 years. I've installed thousands of tubes and use these all the time. Just a little advise Inflate all bicycle tubes slightly before you install them this will keep the tube from "bunching up" when installed. This is the most common reason for home mechanics having Blow Outs. When you install them flat they will "bunch up" with a big bubble and push the tire off the rim suddenly "BOOM" The second most common reason is inflating to quickly. This happens mainly when using a compressor its always better to use a bicycle pump. Quick inflation can cause the tire bead to unseat from the hook on the rim "BOOM" Best way to avoid this is slow inflation a little care go's a long way. When a tube is installed and the wheel put back on the bike put a very small amount of air inside check the bead line carefully to make sure it is even with the rim before adding a little more pressure so that the tires firm but still can be squeezed in. Then check again. If the line and the rim are even then you can inflate the tube to pressure. if not let out a little air and get that line even with the edge of the rim and repeat. Just some facts. There are no "seams" in a bicycle tube those lines are from the mold. when your valve rips off its usually because you installed it crooked. These tubes are made by Kenda the same manufacturer that makes Bontrager Trek, Specialized and Q-tubes as well as many others, ALL made in China. They are one of if not the largest producer of bicycle tubes. There are no tubes on the market made in the USA There are some tubes made in Europe but they are twice the price and wont stop flats any better at all so don't waste your money unless you just want to save weight. Hope this helps. Happy riding!
