We use a laptop to play movies and stream to the TV. Years ago one kid bought us a much earlier version of something like this. It’s getting old and acting up. This one is a GREAT improvement. The old one had a track ball for the mouse. I like the touch pad far better. Also with my eye’s getting old it was getting hard to read the tiny little keys any more on the old one. This one with the back lit keypad even I can easily read. Especially in low light like when we are watching TV. I like the rechargeable battery too. I was at first concerned it would come with some kind of proprietary charging cord. It does not. It simply uses a standard Mini USB. This is the old style not the micro like cell phones now. So charging it is a snap. Should have bought one of these long ago!
