This set is perfect for a smaller terrace. (12x12) It's a perfect grey/tan neutral basket weave of durable UV resistant plastic. The table top glass is the perfect thickness. Be sure to buy the colorful pillows for a splash of accent color. Ignore the stupid review about the set being too small and designed for children and the fact it's not genuine wicker. The gentleman obviously did not read the specifications which were quite accurate. A full size polyurethane 4 piece wicker set w 6 inch cushions would cost $1500 not $300! Seems like he wanted a Cadillac for the price of a Chevy! That said if you have a 1500 sq ft terrace the scale of this set is probably too small. We live on Twin Peaks in San Francisco and the wind gusts occasionally to 30-40 mph. The furniture is fairly light but heavy enough not to get blown around. While the scale is on the small side we've had lunch for 4 on the terrace with no problems. I'm 6'-3" 215# and find the chairs quite comfortable. Do, however apply three light coats of heavy duty 'outdoor' scotch guard on cushions and pillows to prevent soiling and to keep moisture from soaking in. They DONT come adequately protected. For a smaller terrace this set is perfect. Time will tell if it's truly durable and will last at least 3-4 seasons. I highly recommend it.
