Bought in Nov 2016 for our business cleaning houses. I use it at home too. I did a lot of research comparing backpack vacuums beforehand. I've used the $400-$500 Proteam backpack vacuums when I worked for another guy, and while those were great, I hated how the hose always swung around where you didn't want it to go (on the Proteams). The Hoover's quality is the same, if not better. I do like how incredibly easy it is to clean; just dump the filter into a trash can in your garage to avoid a mess. It starts to get hot on my back after about an hour which is fine--I'm rarely vacuuming that long anyway. It's lightweight, and really comfortable! I think the smaller canister design (vs. the 10 qt.) probably helps cut down on weight, and I could never fill up either size canister in a day of vacuuming either. Love this thing!! UPDATE: 9 months later--still love it. Dependable & haven't had to buy a new filter yet!
