Purchased this in July, it's November now and one doesn't work. They looked really cool when working though. The problem is that these are not sealed very well, and ants infiltrate them, get tons of dirt inside, and tear up the inside. One is still working for now but I fear it's fate will be similar. I took some pictures of what I discovered inside. The more messed up one is the one that isn't currently working. Have reached out to nektech and will update this review pending their response. Update : they're sending me a new pair. Hopefully that will work better. Will update my review again after I receive, and after a few months to see how they hold up. Customer service was very fast. Update, new pair arrived today. 3 days after they said they sent. I like that. They look the same though so I'm worried about the ant situation. Will update this review after a few months to see if they hold up. Update: March 2018 now and the ant problem has not persisted. Still working. Though with the less sunny winter the battery life isn't very good. I have lots of trees too. Battery life seems to be a couple hours at best in the winter. Will update again in the summer when the sun is out longer. Update June 2018. One went out and one turned green, so reached out to nekteck who immediately replaced them. Added another star for good customer service. I noticed that the new ones seem to be a little bit different solar material than the last ones, so will update again after some time if these new and improved ones hold up.
