It still need work on the resolution aspect to compete with bigger LED projector 2. No Wifi connection DeepLee was unheard of to me, however I found them while browsing Amazon for a mobile projector. I wanted something that can project a stronger image as compared to my Innoio Smart Beam, my previous experience with Innoio Smart Beam is quite bad, thus I decided not to use them anymore. Anyway, as usual I got attracted by the price and one of the model with the input battery, however I was thinking to try out the non-battery version since I won’t be taking outdoor for now. The projector reached me pretty fast since I am a Prime member and I have tested it out. Lets look at how it is First Impression – [Good] Looking at the box, I expected it to be heavy, however it was quite light as the LED projector itself is light. It is slightly heavier than the weight of my Galaxy S7 Edge. Inside it, is a soft foam box holding and protecting the LED Projector inside and all the accessories. It came with 1x LED Projector 1x Remote Control 1x Adapter (US) 1x Multi media cable for input to the LED 1x Manual All the essentials are in and it looks good. Weight (9.5/10) I like the weight of this LED Projector, even though it is slightly heavier than my Galaxy S7 Edge, it is lighter than expected. It is rectangular and it will be easy for us to store in our bags, briefcase and other carrying bags. I am still quite pleasantly surprised at the light weight of this LED Projector. Built Quality (9.5/10) The LED Projector is made of plastic, thus it can achieve the light weight, however every corner of the LED Projector is firm, and no part of the LED Projector suggested any poor workmanship. There is no part that is filmsy, and nothing to have me doubt the durability of it. That being said, it is just the first impression, we will still need to work on it and have time to tell us the whole story. For now, it is 9.5 Options for Inputs – 4 There are 4 options for us to have our content played through the LED Projector, 1. Multi Media Cable 2. HDMI 3. USB 4. Micro SD One of the reason why I decided to try them out is because of the USB and Micro SD input option. It made things a lot easier. As most of the time I used USB to transfer and store my media content, it makes sense for me to just plug it a USB and play it from there. I like the convenience of it. Well perhaps what I felt they can do more is to make it wireless, have a wifi connection too, it will come in handy for many of us. However for the price, I thought it will be too much to ask for that. Image Resolution (8.5/10) I find it good enough, you will need at least about 1 metre away from the wall to get a clear image, there is a rolling flip on the left side of the lamp for you to adjust the clarity of the image projected. It will usually be on the top. I don’t find anything wrong with it, just that I do not know if technology can permits such a small lamp to project image closer to the resolution and clarity of the bigger ones we used in our conference room. A score of 8.5 is because of me hoping this to have a resolution similar to bigger projector, which it is not possible as of now. Fan Noise (9/10) All projectors produce a certain level of fan noise and this is a non-exception. It achieved a high score here is because there is little noise coming out, it will be drowned when you are watching your movies through this little LED Projector. Initial startup, its noise is clearly audible, however after you on your media content, the fan noise will not be heard. It will be a distraction to you This is for you if you are looking for the following qualities 1. Portability 2. Affordable LED Projector 3. USB / Micro SD Card input options *** Verdict *** User Experience – Excellent Due to its weight, portability, low level of fan noise, and 4 different options of inputs, I prefer this projector over my previous Innoio Smart Beam. I like the convenience that the different input options bring and the remote control that allows me to control the LED projector while sitting comfortably on my seat and my chair. If you are looking for one with a wireless connection, this is not for you. I felt that for professional presentation, this might still not be up to mark, thus together with the lack of Wifi, I gave it a score of 8.5. However if you are like me, doesn’t mind it to be wired and use it just for entertainment purposes, you can try this out! If you do not like it, at least you can still ask for a full refund!
