I bought a number of these, one for me and the rest for Christmas presents. When I first got these, I was a little disappointed because they were a bit bigger then I was expecting and the "fast response" was clarified in the internal as more like 4 seconds. The vendor had sent me an email asking if I received them and how I liked them. I responded honestly with the above and said I was contemplating returning them. He replied back almost immediately that if I would try one of them for 30 days and still did not like it, I could return them for a full refund, no questions asked. So I tried it, and yes, I do like it and kept it. I like the fact it automatically turns off when you lock the probe back into the body. It really is faster than the other electronic thermometer that I have and it is a good size to allow testing the meat on a grill without burring your hand. The probe business end is not tiny, but still pretty small and makes very small hole in the meat. So I do like it after all and recommend it to other grillers out there. Plus, with customer service like that, how can you go wrong?
