I cannot believe how easy this was to assemble by myself. 15 minutes, no problem. Sturdy. Strong. Noise free. My ultra firm Stearns and Foster fits right in with no wiggle room. Like a glove. My mattress is really heavy. The slats are strong. Please note that memory foam beds should not be used on beds with slats. There may not be enough room to drop a thin plywood on top of the steel slats and then a foam mattress...it would be close, the base would have to be super thin. To my surprise the frame is actually capable of headboard attachment! I did not see that in the description whatsoever. The frame holds the mattress higher than I thought, which is a good thing, sometimes reading the measurements doesn't really help you visualize. The online description says can support 2200lbs. I don't know how accurate that is but myself, the mattress and two ladies...approximately 600lbs total, very stable. All screws and bolts fit. Easier than IKEA to assemble.
