There are things you need to consider about this product. 1. Whatever dummy left a review saying these were dried out did not read the box. These are the new no slip strips. They are very different than the classic. The are a solid gel and stick to your teeth like glue. There is no extra on the strip holder like in the old days. They don't squish out and move and that's on purpose. That review was unfair. 2. These have lower levels of peroxide, that's why they are gentle. Because of that they whiten less drastically than original. If you have sensitive teeth, that's the price you pay. You may have to use two boxes. Still ok with me because these don't make me miserable after. 3. Yes, they are much less painful. I barely had any discernable irritation and it was gone after ten hours. I am very sensitive to the original. Now, if you are ok with all of this, buy these.
