This is a fantastic addition to our dining decor. We got the burlap and lace one. It's nice to have a sheet of protection, especially with little ones around. Having this definitely makes things easier! However, we noticed that the heat protection was not believable. Our table still gets quite hot! We still use trivets for hotter pots and bowls. It really is stain resistant tho! I've successfully cleaned many spaghetti stains off of it. Even stains I was certain would stick came off and that's super awesome!
