Pay no attention to the people claiming that it's "ultra violent" and "unnecessarily gorey". Sure, you don't need to read a comic book to really get a feel for this show, but to think that things don't go wrong and expect it to be like watching a Pixar film is just not doing this story justice. As someone who has read the ENTIRE Invincible series, I am a kid on Christmas morning every single time I see something I've already witnessed in the books and still am able to find portions of the show that don't follow the comics at all. It's very similar to The Walking Dead in that aspect; the book and the show have enough differences between them that it makes people like me enjoy the show a bit more because I, too, am surprised by what I see. I hope this show continues for a long time because the story of Mark Grayson is an amazing one and I'm hoping to hear others enjoying it as much as I will and do.
