The universe must've been looking out for me on this one - I finally ordered some seat covers and not two days after they arrived I stopped to help a man with a broken down car on the interstate... and he pooped on them (I wish this was a fake review). I'm giving 4 stars because of the super cheap price and universal fit - it was a pretty good fit on my Tacoma. I only subtracted one star because a small amount of the poop leaked through to the seat. I don't know if higher quality/priced seat covers are more poop resistant or not. If they are, and there is scientific evidence backing it, then I will probably buy the seat cover with a higher poop resistance rating in the future because of this experience. However, until I see evidence confirming this, I'll stick to the cheap ones. All in all, it kept the majority of the poop off of my seat and I'm happy about that, especially for the price. For what it's worth, I'm about to order another set of two (because the pooped on one has been thrown away) and I'm going to put both of them on my passenger seat. I assume two seat covers on top of each other will have approximately twice the poop resistance of a single one (though this has not been scientifically proven) and today I learned that I need that level of protection... apparently. I have yet to decide if the pooped on seat can be salvaged or not.
