I ordered this pullover along with a few others from Amazon, and this was the only one with no reviews. As a bigger woman with weird proportions (5'3", 230lb, NOT hourglass figure...), it's a huge gamble to buy online when there's no reports about the cut, sizing, quality, etc. Lucky for me, this sweatshirt is amazing. Of all the ones I ordered, and all the ones I already owned, it's my absolute favorite. The neckline is perfect - not oversized from bad scaling to the 2X size, but not underscaled such that it suffocates my neck. The fabric is very soft, super comfortable, and stretchy without losing its shape. It breathes well, the wrist cuffs don't get baggy after pulling up my sleeves for typing at work, and the waist band (hip band? this is a long sweatshirt) is very cozy without being constricting. The length on this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I scoured the internet and ordered a bunch of reportedly "tunic" shaped sweatshirts but they all looked super weird on me with my big belly and had bizarrely positions pockets. This one is long enough to go down to the crotch of my pants, doesn't look funny on my apple shape, and the pocket is high enough on the front to still make sense. Sleeve length is generous - not too long to be annoying, not too short to be limiting. I prefer to have my hands partially covered by my sleeves, and this jacket does that with some slack. The ends of the wrist cuffs sit perfectly at the base of my fingers, exactly where I prefer. I love the brass button detail on the front of the collar, and that the back collar is upright to provide just a little more warm to my neck without being a weird turtleneck situation. The red/purple is a really nice rich plum/magenta color. I'm not a huge fan of pink, but this is pretty close to a wine or burgundy and turns out I love it and it looks good on me. Who knew! Anyway, I'm a bigger lady (48" bust, 42" waist, 50" hips) who usually struggles with sweatshirt length because of the curvature of my bust and belly eating up all the vertical space. I wear a 34J bra and have a higher chest than most, so a lot of tops get pulled up towards my neck and strangle me because the bustline of the garment isn't roomy enough at the armpits where the fullest point of my chest is. This sweatshirt gave me no problems - NONE - and is soft and wonderful and perfect. I wish it came in more colors. Once I've determined that it washes well, I'll probably come back and order 3 more. If they add more colors? I'll probably buy those too. I wasn't asked by anybody to leave this review, and didn't receive any discount on the product or gifts of the product directly... I'm just genuinely in love with this freakin sweatshirt as a person who has historically worn oversized men's hoodies because female clothing companies still don't understand how boobs work. P.S. if you tpyically struggle with sweatshirt length for other reasons, like having a long torso or being long all over because you're tall, you'll probably also find this sweatshirt to be a FREAKIN GODSEND. it's affordable, it fits, it feels good, just do it. You want this.
