I'm 34, and 4 years ago I began getting the worst acne of my life. It was cystic, red, inflamed, and lots of white heads, too. My skin had never been super clear, but it was nothing too bad, a few white heads and some rosacea. The acne I started to get was absolutely horrendous. I tried EVERYTHING: Retin-A, antibiotics, antifungals (who knows), apple cider vinegar, every over the counter cream and wash you can imagine, went to a special acne clinic, adopted a sugar free/grain free diet, cut out coffee/caffeine, cut out everything I enjoyed in life, even tried acupuncture. I felt disfigured and impotent to do anything about it. My botox doctor told me about spironolactone. I started it, but I was still breaking out a good deal. Finally, I had had enough. I hit my lowest low, and that's when I read the LoveVitamin girls' page. I figured, why the heck not. It has been 9 months now, and my skin is 99% clear!!!!! I never thought I would say that. I still get a spot here and there. Guess when? When I skip just one of my Estroblocks. Yep. I have found that, for me, 1 Spiro and 3 Estroblock Triples a day keeps the acne away. Guess what else? I lost 20 pounds! I'm 5'1", and I went from 118 lbs to 98 lbs. Yep. Guess what I eat now? SUGAR, COFFEE, BAGELS (almost every day), donuts, chocolate cookies, ANYTHING I want. Seriously, I don't even think about my food anymore. Before, I obsessed over it... "Will this break out my skin even more? make me fat?" Not anymore. I just live and enjoy life. I also stopped using face wash and just went to oil cleansing with basic grape seed oil. I do that all week, and then once a weekend I use a Dr. Gross Alpha-Beta peel to exfoliate. I've always had rosacea and thought that that was just my lot in life. Nope. Gone too! About 7 months ago, after the acne started to clear, I decided to leave my house without foundation one day, and when I got to work, several people said, "OMG, what happened to your face??", b/c it was so red. People are jerks. The other day I left the house without foundation by accident (that alone is a miracle). I didn't realize it until I was already at work for a few hours. This time, I told some of my colleagues, and they said, "Huh, didn't even notice." I'm SUPER satisfied with this product. I will say that the Thorne Liver Cleanse was necessary, as I felt like death the first week taking Estro, but I did start with the Triple Strength. After 3 months, I quit the Thorne without any symptoms. Honestly, these pills have been life changing. I highly recommend them!
