Very disappointed in this purchase, was a simple assembly, but cannot be used as it will not stand with no items on the shelves. I will be returning today. UPDATE: I didn't realize unless after posting the initial review that using a hammer to pound the poles onto the plastic sleeves would make the shelves perfectly sturdy. The directions do not call for a hammer and I thought I had pushed down hard enough with my weight--the shelves ARE sturdy if assembled correctly and I will not be returning.
