I got this based off a NY Times review and it's excellent for the price. Very sturdy and well made; the textured sides truly do make it easier to grip and less likely to slip/drop your phone. I switched to another phone case at one point and was surprised at how much less of a grip I was able to have on it - the smartish case is definitely the one you want if you have butter fingers. The side buttons are definitely a little stiffer with this case, although that's not even necessarily a complaint; when I switched to another case the buttons were not as stiff and I accidentally kept activating volume or power off or screenshot. So having the buttons a little stiffer actually helps prevent accidental button pushing as you have to be very intentional with it. Excellent case, especially for ten dollars. You really can't go wrong with it.
