I bought two of these hoping they would help illuminate all the coral swim throughs and and sea life on a dive trip. One as a gift for my brother and one for me. They worked out great over 11 dives in 7 days on our diving trip. We charged them every other dive day, The charge lasts pretty well and didn't seem to dim between charges. We took these to depths of 110 feet multiple times. Just make sure the seals (there are 2) are fully closed after charging the battery and you should be perfect. We used a colored rubber bands to distinguish between the 2 lights on the boat and to in case we found the on off switch would slide on us (which it didn't). Very bright and effective light, way brighter than the dive companies rental lights for our night dive. I recommend these lights for general diving use.
