What can you waffle? ANYTHING! Cornbread? Yes! Bread? Yes! Waffles/pancakes? Of course! Any wet batter will waffle. I love this little machine. This is the perfect size for us. It's super easy to use, does exactly what it says.. and keeps your portions under control. Oh, I only touch the surface with silicone to protect it from scratches. And the best way to keep your waffles crispy is to lay them on a cooling rack... remember, your bread is hot and steamy when you remove it from the waffle maker. If you place it into a plate immediately it'll get moist and soggy. Just FYI. I bought the trio (at World Market): griddle, waffle & grill pack. They're all three amazingly-useful & so, so easy-to-use, too. I'm leaving this review because I actually wanted to see what other DASH products were sold of this size. Seriously, that's how great these wonderful, lightweight gems are. You'll love them. Quick. Easy. Delicious. Portion control. Need I say more?
