This pool vacuum is great to remove stuff from your pool IF, and this is the first important part, IF you use batteries that are good enough. Here's the second import part: most batteries are not good enough. If you use brand new brand name batteries straight off of the store shelf you might get a few good minutes of use. Might. If you use old batteries, even those that have never been used before but sat in your closet a while, you will likely be disappointed immediately. I got tired of going through brand new batteries and only getting a few minutes of use so I broke down and bought rechargeables. Here's where the good happened. I found rechargeable batteries that have a lot more energy storage than brand name traditional batteries. They are GREAT. It vroooms with more force than I've ever seen before and works for over 10 minutes at or near full strength. You can have to empty the bag several times on one set of these rechargeable batteries. I haven't run them down yet, I ran out of stuff to vacuum before the batteries quit. Not to be a shill, but for informational purposes, these are the rechargeable batteries I bought. They had great reviews which pointed out their capacity is higher than most other rechargeables and higher than store bought traditional batteries. They also confirmed these batteries retain a substantial amount of their charge (80%) after long periods (months) of storage.
