I realize that usually pet owners need these type of hair removers, but I bought them for a different reason. I sew monster dolls and when I cut the fabric, the hair goes everywhere. My house looks like I own 3 dozen dogs and it's almost impossible to clean up properly. This has been a godsend. It swipes away the fur from my furniture so well and it's very easy to use. It works even better on my clothes. When I'm finished, all I need to do is return it to the cover and it wipes off all of the hair so it's ready to be used again. It's much more ecofriendly than the sticky paper rollers since it can be used over and over again.
