I have 2 German Shepards. They are 2 months and 10 days old. They have the hardest heads of any dog I have ever seen. You call them and they just look at you. They are also the smartest 2 dogs I have ever seen. They know their names, can sit, are nearly house broke, but will not come when you call them. I put these collars on them and in 15 mins they have a new out look when I call their names. I did not have to "shock" them!!! I use the beep when I called their names and the vibrate to move them along. I'm amazed at how good they work! Try the shock on your self before you use it on your animal. I'm 6' 2" and 235 lbs and the shock at 100% hits me hard. I have it on 10% for the dogs and the vibrate set to 50%. Works like a champ. Don't let your kids have the remote. Don't use it when your mad. It's a training aid not a punishment tool.
