These flip-flops are not your rubber flip-flops from the drug store. They are what I consider medium weight, sturdy but not heavy. The sole looks like it will last for many miles. The arch support is good, especially for a sandal. The texture of the foot bed fells good when when walking. The one caution is that the straps are somewhat still and rather snug, which some may consider uncomfortable. On the other hand, you won't walk out of them. they will stay securely on your feet.. All things considered, these are the best flip-flops I've ever had.
