I have been using an earlier model of this Panasonic oven over 8 years before the current model. About eight years ago my Toaster oven went out and needed a new one. I wasn't very happy with the one I got, because it always burned my food and it seems like I have to replace it about every two years or so. Anyway, I was recommended by a family friend to try out the Panasonic Xpress Toaster Oven. I was kinda shocked at the price. It was almost three times higher than my current ones but I went ahead bought one anyway. Wow, what a different. It was a night and day different between this oven and my old one. The Panasonic doesn't really uses heat like conventional oven. It uses a different technology all together. I can't explain it but your foods will come out very evenly at a much cooler temperature. Our family loves this thing so much that all of our extended family bought one for their homes. It is one piece of equipment in the kitchen that we used constantly. We probably uses our Xpress Toaster Oven more than our Microwave. We sometimes would reheat food that has been in a frying pan so it would be less greasy and more crunchy. So about 10 months ago my old ones dies because I had took it apart and cleaned it. Somehow the lower heat coil dies. I then went to Amazon thinking I would just get another one but one was not available for a few more months because of a new model. Our family would then rather waited 4 months without an oven instead of getting a different one. That is how good this Panasonic oven is. The new oven is not very different then the old ones except for the pain color and a few buttons got change. The new color is much more attractive I think. The only downsize to this oven is it is a little on the small size. It is not wide but deep. Sometime we have to cut out pizza in half to heat it up that is not a problem for us. The oven is quick, efficient and give you wonderful tasting foods. So if you are in a market for a new toaster oven, and this one fits your size than don't even consider anything else. This one is it.
