If you're not strong, buy this one
I've tried several garlic presses, some of them much more expensive than this one, and this one works the best by far—as long as the garlic is peeled, which I always do anyway because it's less effort to press. If you want to press garlic without peeling it, look elsewhere. The little nobs that fit through the holes of the press are a game changer. Almost everything gets pressed, and very easily. I did not have to struggle at all to work this press. The holes are the prefect size. If they're too small, it's really hard to press, and the result is juicy mush. With this press, the garlic maintains its integrity but is easily blended into a dish. For my sample press, I stirred it into a tahini dressing with a fork. I also appreciate how compact this press is, taking up little space in my utensil drawer. It doesn't hold as much as some presses, but it's so easy to operate, one could quickly press several cloves one after the other. Give up the struggle. Get this one.
