Never thought I would be bragging about a Walker!
I am 45 yrs. old and have had MS for nearly 2 decades. Before my mom got me this walker I would snap at anyone who suggested the idea I might need to have a cane or walker around for times when I am having more difficulty. I have to say if I had known how nice a walker could be I would not have been so stubborn. I would look at older peoples walkers and the walkers people bring to the MS clinic and they always looked like they were more of a struggle than anything. This is no struggle at all and I am actually getting out more because even when I am going through a difficult time I feel more like I am going out and getting some rehab. It is easy to maneuver, easy to fold and put to the side and I really love the seat! I had stopped going a lot of places even when I was feeling just a little in between feeling good or having my "difficulties" because it is hard to find a place to sit when you suddenly realize you need to. And honestly it is kind of like rehab because I am know moving more by going more places I also challenge myself to engage my core tightly if I am standing in a line so my core is getting stronger to. I was always trying to just engage my core before knowing it is key to strength but then I would end up so mad when my legs would turn to what I called robot legs. The muscles would suddenly start to stiffen as I walked until they couldn't go at all. So broken down robot is more accurate. Thank you for the sweet set of wheels!:)
