AWESOME. 'Nuff said...
If you're a parent, the picture I uploaded pretty much sums it all up. Our son took his nap on the beach in Maui, so this thing was worth it, just for that.
We've used it once on the beach in Monterey, CA, and 5 times at various beaches in Maui (just a few weeks ago), and there's no signs of cheap-o wear-and-tear. For the price, this "tent" is extremely well-made, and is ready to go, right out of the bag.* If you want to stake out the front flap and also use the included lines, though, you'll need to buy 2 more stakes. The included sand bags actually came in handy on a windy day on Maui.
It folds up well, and the stuffed bag is small enough to fit in a smaller suitcase (not a carryon, as it's a little less than 23 inches long). If you want to go hard-core on weight-reduction, you could probably replace the fiberglass poles with aluminum poles (keep the tips, though, or you won't be able to keep anything in place!).
Two things I'll add to what others have said:
1. For effective venting with the tent all closed up, I kept the back window unzipped at the bottom, and the front flap unzipped at the top. Even in Maui, the moving air kept the interior of the tent cool enough for comfortable napping.
2. If you want MORE venting and don't want to allow the sun in through the rear window, use Metal Binder Clips to clip the unzipped flap against the "frame" of the window. Fiddling with the setup can give you some pretty good airflow.
I would definitely buy this, again.
*One thing I would definitely add to the carry-bag, though, is a small whisk broom to clean out sand before naps or collapsing. It's not vital, but it will add to user comfort and help your tent last longer.
