My home caught fire and after going through insurance and all the clean up. I was still getting a slight smoke smell in my living room. Before moving back into my home the fire restoration company said they can run the ozone machine again before I move in. They said sometimes you have to run it for multiple days before all the smell goes away. So I checked on Amazon and here seems like a cheap way to handle the smell. Because I didn't want the smell coming back after I moved back into my home. Well the restoration company ran their ozone machine for 1 day then I had to move back into my home. Then the smell came back after 3 days. So I ran this machine while everyone was at work and school, the only thing is that there is a 2 hour timer on it. So I had to go home every few hours and reset it. That is the only gripe I have about this machine. I ran this machine for 3 consecutive days while everyone was out of the house without any problems whatsoever and it worked! After 3 days there is no more smoke smell and it hasn't come back. I haven't used it for the house anymore. My sister did buy a used car and it had an awful smokers smell inside of it. I told her I had this machine that is suppose to get rid of smells so we gave it a try. We kept the car running with all the vents open and the air circulating. It did a pretty good job... It didn't get rid of all the smell but the majority of it did go away. I told her if we ran the machine in the car a few more times it would probably get rid of the rest of it. But it got rid of most of the smell so she said it was fine so that she could use her car. But after the initial use at my home and my sisters car - I don't use this machine anymore.
