I purchased this cane as I am presently recovering from total knee replacement surgery. I am a 55 year old female. After I didn't need the walker anymore, I figured I will need to use a cane for awhile. I wanted my cane to be sturdy, well-made, yet feminine. I get so many compliments on it! Some of the other ladies in physical therapy with me asked me where I got such a pretty cane. They want one like it. I recommend purchasing this brand-Nova Ortho Med-through Amazon.com. Being disabled, whether temporary or permanent is a challenge for anyone. If even one little thing can make your heart feel a little lighter or put a smile on your face, then it makes it all worth while.
