Put Your Back Into It
Honestly, if you're not going to take the time to install these properly, don't even bother getting universal car seats and spend hundreds of bucks getting your custom seats professionally installed. It took me, a 5'1" 25 y.o female, only about 2 hours to install these solo in my 2017 Ford Fusion. If you want to install these in your rear seats and make them look nice you HAVE to take the rear seat out. Just suck it up and put some elbow grease into it and it'll work just fine. Newer cars make it so easy to remove and reinstall so theres no excuse to blame the product for your inability to put some effort into it. As with everything else in this world, you'll get out what you put in.
On the other hand, I am docking a star because of some quality issues. One of the elastic bands was frayed and my set was missing a headrest cover. I didnt plan on using them because my height doesn't allow me to rest my head on mine anyway but it would have been nice to have all 4. Although I wish that the color was closer to the seller photo, the pink is lovely and nothing tore during installation so I'm pretty happy with the result for the price! :)
