I had a Keurig which conked out after a few months. I didn't want to spend that kind of money again on a machine that self-destructs. Also, the newer Keurigs won't work with the older design K-Cups. The Chulux doesn't care. So far I've brewed 150 perfect cups. Much simpler than a Keurig - hopefully that means it will last longer. The only slight negs are 1) a six inch mug is a tight fit and only if you remove the bottom piece first. 2) You have to measure the amount of water going in. It would be great to just have a see through side with tic marks like many coffee makers/kettles do. 3) The opening to pour water into is very small.
