These are great. Here is how I ended up with these sheets: bought multiple sets 300ct Percal, 600 sateen, 800 sateen, 600 plain weave and this set at 400 thread count. THIS IS THE ONLY SET I'M KEEPING. my husband wants very breathable sheet, I want something that is soft (not stiff). 600 and 800 didn't breath enough for hubby, the 300 was super stiff/rough and not comfortable against my skin. I'm sure there are better sheets out there... But at the sub $100 for king sheets this is the best I've found for what I wanted. Side note: they are cotton, they do wrinkle but flatten nicely on the bed and are not noticed when sleeping.
