Awesomeness!!!!
Wow, this is awesome! I followed the easy instructions for setup, and within minutes, I was controlling two ceiling fans via Alexa, including the fan light "Alexa, turn on the Master Bedroom Fan at 50%", and boom - there it goes! Couple of suggestions for future versions: - Keep track of state, especially of the light. When I added the "Master Bedroom Fan Light" to my Alexa group for the Master Bedroom, the command "Alexa, turn OFF the Master Bedroom" causes the "Master Bedroom Fan Light" to turn ON, if it is presently OFF (which is the opposite of what I wanted). The Bond apparently sends a "toggle light" command without keeping track of the state of the light, so therefore adding it to a room group is not a good idea - When the Bond recognizes my Hampton Bay remote, it shows duplicate LIGHT and DIM buttons. I deleted the dupes, but that'd seem to be an error in the Bond database of Hampton Bay remotes (unless I'm missing something) - State explicitly that Bond does NOT work with Lutron Maestro Fan and Light switch (Lutron MA-LFQHW-WH), as Lutron uses line modulation to communicate, rather than RF. Took a bit of digging to figure that out, but - all good, it's not Bond's problem, just an inherent incompatibility. I'll be removing my Lutrons in favor of something that IS Bond compatible (because, g*d forbid, that I can't control my office fan with my voice - the horror :)
