Purchased as an experiment to see if it could accommodate just a keyboard and mouse platform to temporarily enable a sit/stand setup.on a regular desk. I also have an ergo pole mount that can hold one or two monitors. I am considering ordering a second unit for my laptop. Of course the cooling fans are a little redundant but happy to report that the system is solid and almost perfect for this use. One minor issue is that a keyboard is a little too light to keep the unit from occasionally slipping on a desk. A simple remedy is to affix four small felt (or rubber) pads to the lower base legs to keep it from slipping.
