High Power Rainfall Shower Combo Showerhead (W/O Expert Setup)
Disclaimer: I purchased this product with my own money, with no discount, so my review will most likely be biased in some way. I don't care. Alrighty, here's the deal, y'all. This thing is easier than hell to install. You only need two tools, the first being a wrist with good range of motion and the second the six inches between your ears (your brain). Start by taking your old POS showerhead off and (take the black O-ring out first) toss it in the trash. Next step, take the flow regulator out. It's a little white plastic piece with a sharp metal piece. It makes a huge difference. Just be careful. Use a pair of tweezers as to not scratch/break anything internally. Place it in one of the little baggies that comes with the showerhead. You never know if you'll need it again (my wife hates me). Make sure you place the black o-ring that you took out back in the correct way. The o-ring should have a channel carved out of it that will go facing in. Next, take the shiny plastic "nut" and place it as shown in the diagram that is provided. Turn until snug. Do not tighten (yet). Next, there should be three black o-rings (four including the one you pulled from the old head) and place one on the inside of the indicated spots (see picture, colored circles). Next, screw the three-way/intersection-thingy/middle piece on to the metal pipe sticking out of your wall. Turn until snug. You shouldn't need plumbers tape. The o-ring you placed inside should fit snug enough to prevent leaks. If you turn the shower on (after complete installation) and there's a leak, tighten the three-way/intersection-thingy/middle piece another turn toward the wall and that should do the trick. Next, you can do any of the following in any order, since the o-rings you installed are in their proper places. *Screw the 7" head (with o-ring inside) on until snug (yellow circle) *Screw the hose (with o-ring inside) onto the three-way (blue circle) *Screw the handheld head (with o-ring inside) onto hose (red circle) Final step: turn on water. Like I said earlier, if there's a water leak (at the green circle), give it another full turn (clockwise, or righty-tighty) and that should do the trick. If it doesn't, throw some plumbers tape on that bad boy and reinstall. That's it, folks! Enjoy!
