We love coffee.. My husband drinks decaf and I drink strong dark roast.. For this reason we have been using keurig.. Lately I was looking for coffee makers as I drink more than couple cups.. I saw the new Oxo 8 cup and especially having the shower head and also having the compatibility 10-20 oz as well as 20-40 oz brewing option made me chose Oxo.. I didn't have so much high expectations as I love my Chemex .. however for practicality I wanted to give a try.. The coffee machine came within couple days and we are so pleased with this new addition.. I think we will put our Keurig to our basement.. Pros: - Very simple to use - Sleek design and small - not bulky - Functional - Great taste coffee -Carafe keeps the coffee hot for an hour or so -Single serve option has mug adjuster (fits small and 20 oz coffee termal mugs easily) - Single serve adjustment accessory is included -Easy to clean Cons: - No time set up - No heated platform - If you are looking coffee for large crowds this might not be a fit (40 oz) max capacity - No water filter For us works really great! We can choose our favorite coffees.. One of us can enjoy good decaf and one of us can enjoy strong french press.. No more k cups.. as we were both feeling guilty even we were choosing the most environmental versions.. Update Dec 2021: We have been using our coffee machine since Sept 2020 everyday couple times.. We love the taste of our coffee and how we each can make our own coffee with our preferred coffee (I still drink dark roast and enjoying trying different wonderful coffee types and hubby drinks decaf).. If something happens to our coffee machine the next thing I will do is to order Oxo 8 cup from Amazon asap..
