I have a lot of friends with Instant Pots and had been wanting to buy one, when a chance presented itself to review a Mealthy Pot. I was not asked to leave a positive or negative review, just an honest review, and my honest review is that this product is life changing. Boy oh boy did this product deliver in a big way; I couldn't be happier with it. For starters, I had heard from friends that the Instant Pot was a little confusing to use initially, but this was not the case with the Mealthy Multipot. The Multipot was very intuitive from the beginning; there were simple, straight forward directions in the box that easily explained how to set it up. I was ready to start cooking in no time. The pot also came with a lot of extras like silicone mitts, a trivet, a steaming basket, and two different rubber seals, one for desserts and one for savory foods. The pot itself is a really beautiful charcoal grey color and I quickly replaced my old, ugly rice cooker for this beautiful 9-in-1 magical cooking machine. So far I've cooked a ham in just 15 minutes, brown rice in 15 min , soup in 15 min (and I started with frozen chicken breasts in it), and a favorite pasta dish in 4 minutes. It is helpful to know that pressure cookers take several minutes to build up pressure but once the pressure is built, cooking time is SO fast. I really love the saute function on the pot because you can saute your onions and other veggies in the Multipot itself before adding your other ingredients and finishing it off in the pressure cooker; it's very convenient not to need multiple pans. I haven't used the yogurt setting yet but I'm excited to try it. I'm looking forward to cooking a pot roast this weekend in 45 minutes instead of the 8 hours it normally takes! The Mealthy App is also really helpful as it has lots of tips and recipes. Learning how to cook in a multipurpose pressure cooker is different than regular cooking, so having recipes and guides is helpful. Overall, this pot is a life changer. My meals are so much quicker to make that it makes eating at home much easier. I am extremely pleased with this pot, and it's a better value than the Instant Pot. My friend who is a devout Instant-potter got a Mealthy Pot and said it works just as well, but for a much better value. I recommend giving it a try; you won't be disappointed!
